About IKN

The idea for the Indigenous Knowledge Network was born out of a shared commitment to address the educational and cultural needs of Indigenous communities in Canada. We recognized a gap in accessible, comprehensive resources that could bridge traditional knowledge with modern educational practices. Our diverse backgrounds and experiences converged to create a vision for a digital platform that would serve as a beacon of learning, cultural preservation, and inspiration.
